We kicked off the new BF year with purpose, serving our community at Three Rivers Wesleyan Church! So proud of our students’ kind, servant hearts; as we say, “They will know us by our LOVE.” In addition to our kickoff service, we celebrated another major milestone with our annual last-day high-ropes course experience, closing out with the highs, lows, and shared connection of our supportive BF family village. Grateful for everyone who makes this possible.
During our Teen Spring Retreat, we encountered a surprise when our original accommodations fell through late at night. Pivoting quickly, a senior’s suggestion to pray was followed by an amazing answered prayer: HE provided a new view 10 times better than what we left! It was a powerful reminder of resilience and connection. Check out the beautiful lakeside photos of connection and relaxation from our time away.
Our recent “Evening to Empower” was truly unforgettable. We raised over $68,000 to support our kids and families, thanks to your overwhelming generosity. The evening was a beautiful display of story and purpose, proving that light continues to break through the darkness. Gratitude to our planning team and the incredible young performers who shared their talent and connection. Thank you for making this sold-out event a tremendous success.Join us for our annual Back to School Kickoff! We will be distributing backpacks, school supplies, and setting up our students for a successful academic year of mentoring.
